This small outing takes you 20 minutes out of the Invercargill City to explore 17 acres of a secret garden. Transformed from a disused mine into a tranquil garden they will be sure to impress.

Visiting Riverton you will take the time to visit local artist studios, cafes, vintage shops and local goods stroes. A guided tour of Te-Hikoi museum will provide engaging insights into the Maori and European settlement to the region. Moving onto the Templeton Flaxmill museum you will explore the history of the industry as well as a live demonstration of flax stripping and scutching.

Once collected you will stop in at Awarua communications museum for a tour and short film. Explore technologies history from early telegraph and radio days through to the modern era. Leaving the museum visit Bluff to check out the panoramic views Bluff hill has on offer and of course the world famous Stirling point.
